Good things about global warming/climate change?
We always here the bad things about global warming and climate change(sea level rise, hotter temps, increased extreme weather, animal species becoming extinct etc.) but is there any good things that could come of a warmer world?
What plants and animals would actual benefit from it?
Any other benefits?

Look to history when the earth was warmer than it is now and CO2 levels were higher than they are now. Basically everything is better. There will be some local places that might end up worse off but that is the way climate change has work. One thing history proves is that the climate is always changing so we shouldn't worry about it.

Anytime a change to an ecosystem happens there are changes. Yes some types of plants and animals may benefit.
Whenever you change an animal or plants surroundings normally two things happen, they die out or flourish.
Take the cane toad. It was spread to different parts of the world where it over populated driving many other animals near extinction, because its unnatural to the environment (because people helped spread it to areas) it lacks predictors.
There are all kinds of possibilities, animals and plans to do very well. If your in the school of "its getting hotter" or "its getting colder" either change would have its benefits to a localized ecosystem and a global one.
Another good example of people changing the environment and something really doing well would be the peppered moths. They theorize trees because of the CO2 became darker, thus darker moths blended in better. CO2 in an area was reduced over time trees got lighter and then lighter color moths did better.
Of course like everything else there is always a controversy and politics play a side in every coin flipped. Regardless changes effect things, good and bad, for better for worse.

Much of the arctic regions would open up for crops, like Canada, Alaska, and Siberia. Since the days are so long in summer (even up to 24 hours of sunlight), this could be a tremendous new food source.
Something I never hear about: when the arctic ice clears only a little, there will be a passage from Alaska to Europe. Right now, all the oil from the N. Slope of Alaska goes right to Japan, the shortest route. Now we could supply our European NATO allies, and not be held hostage as Russia has done in Belaruss and other countries to block the flow of petroleum.

Actually most plants would benefit from the increase in CO2. Most animal species that can move, will move like they have been doing for millions of years. The amount of food able to be grown will increase as some of the more fertile areas have longer growing seasons. I mean there is a lot of benefits if you look, it is just that the AGW crowd and the media only points out the negatives. They also forget to mention that man has survived these changes many times before.

The best consequence would be the extinction of the worlds most destructive parasite, human beings, so that the planet would have the opportunity to repair itself and maybe the life that was left would treat the world with the respect it deserves.

I don't know of any benefits from global warming. Some may say it getting 'warmer' feels better in the cooler climate areas, but that's just short sightedness. My personal experience is where I am, by Chicago, our weather has been strangely milder than ever here. But personally it only frightens me when I think of what this beautiful weather is coming from and why. :( lets save our earth before its too late. (tear drop)

The animals that already thrive would most likely thrive more. So basically...any animal that is able to adapt to heat. With a warming planet, the icy grasp of our extreme poles will loosen, revealing new land to explore and resources to be found. Other than that...there aren't many positives. A smoke-screen of smog and pollution will eventually blot out the sun completely, turning our green Earth into a scorching fireball of death...like our neighbour planet Venus.

Longer growing seasons.
Historically life thrives in a warmer climate.
Species tend to proliferate in warmer times,
The duress of cold causes extinction.
There were mammoths in North America until the last Ice Age.

Desert animals will get a kick out of the disaster and the few humans who survive the trauma will finally learn to respect the world they live in. At least, I hope so!

I think the plant that would actual benefit is cactus because it's watery system because it has a big stem that stores/stocks the water. It only need few water. I think climate change are have good moral lessons to the people. It would make the people to realize what are the bad things or bad influence they did to the nature so instead of doing that again they will not do it again for the nature and for the children for the next generation who did not saw yet the wonderful world. thats why the people will get a good moral lesson.
"that's all, thank you. hope you like it" ^_^
