How does dental insurance for braces works?

How much does it cover? Am i going to have be paying it off for a long time, even after the braces get removed. Is it worth having?

Thank you!

Dental insurance plans vary widely in terms of coverage. Some cover orthodontic treatment, some don't.

Is it worth having? If the "it" is dental insurance, then I'd say it almost never makes sense for an individual to purchase dental benefits. The premiums are too high relative to the benefits. If however you can get it through your employer it MIGHT be worth it.

If you can purchase dental insurance through work, you might ask your dentist to look at the plan you are considering and ask if buying it makes financial sense.

    Good luck,

dental insurance wont cover them at all, because its

a cosmetic type thing, its like your health insurance

    wont cover plastic surgury.

You will be paying it off for a while, its actually not

as much as you might think, and if your really self

consious about your teeth i think its worth it in the

    long run

but if your not really that upset about your

teeth, and the way they look doesnt bother you

its not worth the pain and money
