amana refrigator -model atb1504AR- fan works but does not cool on bottom?
refrigator not working properly - don't hear the compressor - when i touch it it really is hot (compressor) fan is ok and top freezer top portion appears to get some cool moisture but bottom of is not getting cold at all. how can i test - compressor or missing freon? how can i tell? anyway to test this unit ?

What is the temp in your freezer? Is the food beginning to thaw? Temp should be between 0 and 10 degrees farenheit. Do you have 1 or 2 fans? All fridges have one in the freezer and some(but not all) also have one near the compressor to help keep it cool. If yours has both, are both of them operating? With a little more info there might be hope.
