I am a subcontractor?

I work for a company, I no longer can work for them due to work injury, Because I am a sub contractor can I claim or not Or can anyone give me advise on this subject.

    Hi,

    Subcontractors are self employed & require to provide insurance for disability on their own as they aren't a hired employee.
