How do you feel about Jack Swagger now using the Ankle Lock as a secondary finisher?
A technical wrestler, who has an american gimmick and an ankle lock as a finisher? I could have sworn I've seen this somewhere before? Still, doesn't change Thwagger's awesomeness.

I really like it.
I mean, Jack Swagger has always been billed as a real "wrestler". His collegiate background is mentioned at seemingly every possible opportunity by Matt Striker, and his regular move-set involves a number of real amateur wrestling techniques. The ankle lock is a true "wrestling" move, so it only makes sense for Swagger to use it. On a side note, I'm a fan of guys having more than one finisher; I find that it makes the matches more interesting.
From a character standpoint, I don't really see the comparisons to Kurt Angle, other than the fact that they were both standout amateur wrestlers. I mean, Angle was almost always booked as a true force in the ring; the type of guy who could toss you around or make you tap out almost instantly. That isn't really Swagger at all, or at least not yet. He's a much more traditional heel in the sense that he almost always ducks his opponents and he frequently runs from the good guys.
Who knows though? I mean, Swagger practically destroyed The Big Show's ankle on Smackdown, and Swagger didn't really run from him. Maybe there is an effort being made to "toughen him up" so to speak, and turn him into more of an Angle like star. Either way, I hope Swagger sticks around the main event for a while; I find him very entertaining.

For those who don't know, Kurt Angle got the Ankle Lock from Ken Shamrock and Jack Swagger got the Ankle Lock from Kurt Angle.
How do I feel About this?
We are seeing a new Generation of Kurt Angle bloom right before our very eyes.

The first person who brought the Ankle lock to WWE was Ken Shamrock.
Then Angle debut it way after Shamrock had already eleft.
Now Swagger is using it.
Also the whole American gimmick has been recycled so much it doesn't matter. First there was Hogan.
Then there was a guy who was masked and had on USA flag colors on his tights. The music Angle used in WWE was actually the music he used.
So basically Angle copied his music and gimmick.

What WWE needs to do is to push Swagger to the main event. Jack Swagger can be as good as Edge is. What they need to do is to make an explosive feud between Edge and Swagger. I think it should be over the World Heavyweight Championship. It should have things like destroying the GM's office, destroying cars, attacks from behind backstage. It should have lots of things that Smackdown vs Raw 2011 and 2010 has. Right now, Edge is feuding Kane and the feud could be a lot better. WWE should bring more action to feuds.

I personally think that WWE wants to make him the next Kurt Angle.
I also see a little bit of Batista in him as well.
Jack Swagger has a variation of the powerbomb and so does Batista. Also, Batista and Jack Swagger are very cocky.
I think Jack Swagger is a good wrestler though and in 5 years, Jack Swagger will be where Randy Orton is now.

It's a technical staple in wrestling these days. I remember Ken Shamrock pulling it off long before Angle, and even the scrappy brooding brawler Raven used it for a bit in TNA. I have no problem with anyone using this submission move. It's a very generic lock that when done properly and expertly can look good.

Doesn't both me. People steal other finishers all the time. Booker T stole the Rock Bottom, Batista stole Edge's (or Goldberg's) spear, Billy Gunn stole Goldberg's Jackhammer for a while, Eddie Guerrero and RVD both used the Frog Splash.

ken shamrock used it before kurt when he was in the wwe so why cant jack swagger take it from kurt angle, and it fits his technical style so i say yes to swagger using the ankle lock
