what is wrong with my 1992 Mercury Sable Ls?
I currently just got the car. They said the battery was going, so I got the battery checked out and it was okay. When i go to turn the car on, the dash board lights up and I hear click click. But doesn't start. Any ideas what it could be?

May be the starter solenoid wire (smaller wire) at the starter is corroded. Look to see if the solenoid has a slide on terminal, if so wiggle the wire/terminal and then see if it will start. If starts splice in new terminal, Ford sells them just for this reason. It's a little pricey from Ford but you know it's the proper terminal that clips on to the solenoid terminal.

Sounds like you need a new starter but it could also be the battery (even though they tested it), solenoid, or alternator.
