How did your favorite driver do in the Daytona 500 of this year and...?

After having great practice sessions, the 17 was pathetic during the 500. Matt was irritated all day at how awful the car was handling. But they avoiding trouble all day and were in the right place at the right time on the closing laps and stole an 8th place finish. I look for him to be a top ten car that has an outside shot at winning this week. Matt has been great at getting himself in position to win plate races but not great at closing the deal.

Dale Jr. finished 2nd in the 500 this year, so if he will improve in the 400, he needs to win the thing and I think he can. I'm confident in him that he will get it done this weekend. If he can win the N'wide race in the #3 car, he'll be alot of trouble for everyone else in the Cup race.
