Why is my chicken's comb pale?

I have a rooster.

His comb is almost a really pale orange, however, it used to be bright red.

When i open the chicken coop doors every morning he just sits inside.

I have an inside feeder and he eats the regular food i provide him, but he doesn't get excited over corn like all of the rest. He seems to act normal its just he has a pale comb and wattle. He also has no mites or anything. I also just got done "dustin" the inside of the coop. NEED HELP please!!!!!

thanks

If they are not out on the ground and grass you need to give them some grits or oyster shell for their gizzard, needed to grind the food. They can die with a full crop of food if no grit grinds the food small enough to leave the gizzard. No food out, to nourish the bird, no space for food to go into the gizzard and the bird will starve. Give some pea sized stones, I hope it is not too late.

he might have worms so i would use a broad spectrum wormer on him and if you are willing to you might want to bring one of his poops to the vet so the can do a F.E.C (fecal egg test) and see if he does have worms, what type they are and they will recommend a good wormer

i would also offer him yogurt because that is good for chickens and you should put some poultry supplements in his water or food to try to make him have more energy

they could be distinctive an prolonged time or one could of matured speedier than the different. whilst i offered my first 4 Rhode Island Reds, they did no longer start up laying on the comparable time. like the guy above me suggested, their comb has no longer something to do with them laying eggs. in simple terms provide it it sluggish.
