Players should be paid based on performance. If you only have 2 career goals. And they were scored 4 years ago. You should not qualify to make over the league minimum. Seriously, if your going cap total spending. And put a maximum on how much of a percentage a top played player can make. Why is this bum allowed to be paid 1.65M? It's a joke!

Boogaard is a fan favorite for a reason. Yeah he hasn't scored in 222 games. Not his job. That's Gaborik's job. Boogaard's job is to make sure Gaborik does his job without being smashed. He will do that better than anyone else we could've aquired. So picking him up was great, the price tag not so much, but that's sather for you.

Oh and there's alot being made about him only fighting 10 times last year, but I think that has alot to do with the fact noone is willing to fight this guy. Besides Jody Shelley's in our division so that'll double Boog's fight total right there.
