Omg.. this is the end of us... Phoenix Suns?
A lot of Suns fans are actually celebrating that STAT will most likely be leaving at this point and the Suns signing Hakim Warrick. Those people are STUPID. Amar'e Stoudemire is our offense, franchise player, and our future. He is the foundation of our system. Without him our Suns went from a contender to a lottery team. Let's face it, Steve Nash may still be the best PG in the league but without Amar'e the Suns will not win. Hakim Warrick is a bench player and he isn't even a quarter of what Amar'e Stoudemire can do.
People say STAT's problems: defense, rebounding, etc... Nevertheless, the Suns are still one of the elite WITH Amar'e. Now? there is nothing..No one can replace him, Even Chris Bosh and Carlos Boozer would not value more than Stoudemire in Phoenix. I don't even have to remind you that Amar'e Stoudemire is a top 10 player in the league, a first all -nba teamer, perennial all star and the most dominant big man and best offensive big man in the NBA.
Those Suns fans who are celebrating, let's see what you think when the season starts and we're screwed.
WOW isn't it stupid how people underrate Amar'e Stoudemire's value for the Suns. "We will be all right" is a phrase to be used if we don't re-sign Frye or Amundson. When we don't re-sign our franchise player and a talent like Amar'e Stoudemire that's when we start panicking. I'd bet my life that the Suns won't even win 40 games next season without Amar'e Stoudemire. If the Suns don't re-sign him, ALL of us Suns fans will regret it. We're doomed to be a lottery team for years.
And FYI.. David Lee x 2= Amar'e Stoudemire. He won't be and never be as good as Amar'e Stoudemire. He doesn't have the talent to be a foundation and franchise player of a team and even a top 10 player in the NBA.

Ok, I'm a long time Suns fan, and Stoudemire is my second favorite player, trailing STEVE NASH, which is my favorite basketball player of all time. But let's get real, Amar'e is never consistent, what we saw in the second half of the season was not even close to what we saw in the playoffs. He cracked, he was no good. I love him, and I'm really sad that he's leaving, but the suns management sucks so we might as well accept it.
Also, to bring your hopes back up, we made it to the Western Conference Finals without Stoudemire, and the team was less deep than this team. We lost in game 6 to a team that is not necessarily less talented than the current Lakers team.
Hakim actually said in his words that he dreamt of playing with Nash, and to be honest, I'd rather have a guy that fantasizes about playing with my favorite player, than a guy who's not committed. The offer amar'e received from the Knicks is not much different from the offer he received from the Suns, he just wanted to go somewhere else. Let's see if the Knicks will make it to the playoffs...which I doubt. I believe Nash made Amar'e, and I hope Nash will make Warrick.
I love Amar'e and he's still my second favorite player, behind Steve, and I'll always be a fan of his, but it's time he parts ways with the Suns.
GO SUNS !!

David Lee > Amare. If you can afford Lee, GET HIM NOW!
EDIT: Steve Nash MADE Amare. David Lee is a way better rebounder than Amare, a better passer, and he can also create his own shot. He also hustles and he has a good jumpshot. Lee is also great on the pick and roll and his athleticism is underrated. I wish the Knicks would consider bringing back Lee.

it seems like your in love with him or somthing...he isnt the best big man...he is overrated thats what happens when you fall in love with a player you tend to forget his flaws and what really is important...well nice knowing you cuz the suns will be over 40 if they keep the same team minus amare...i guess you want phoniex to give him a major deal like joe johnson which is ridiculous if the suns ever made it to the finals and amare was a mvp for the season maybe but he hasnt even been in the race or even mentioned and he hasnt PROVED ANYTHING but just good in the regular season and out in the playoffs...so get over it the suns will never see the finals even with amare...

I still believe as long as Nash is here patrolling our offense we will somehow squeeze into the post season...
I heart Nash <3
Amar;e is not our offense..... Nash is.
