Will we be allowed to enter Canada?
Later tonight my family is planning to go to Niagara Falls. We are taking the greyhound. My father's passport is expired. The workers of Greyhound mentioned he will be able to enter if her brings his expired passport & naturalization document. He's planning on bringing those things & his drivers license. Will they allow him to enter Canada? We bought the tickets already, so we can't schedule it for another day.

Theoretically no. Your country imposed passport controls on the border to avoid people skipping through with no documentation. You can always stay on the American side if you don't get through.

There's a pretty good chance they won't let him enter - an expired passport is an expired passport. That means it's not good any more. You can give it a try - if you've already bought the tickets, that's probably your only option, but have a backup plan in case he isn't admitted.

If you were crossing the boarder alone, it might be harder but seeing as the Greyhound officials told you the expired passport should be fine I do not see how there should be a problem.
Boarder laws crossing from the USA to Canada are a lot less strict than laws for crossing from Canada or Mexico into the USA.

The only reason you would be denied entry to Canada for not having a passport is because of American laws.
It is highly unlikely that the American officials would refuse an American citizen, but the Canadian officer might not take the chance.
There is no definate answer.

From the Canada Border Services Agency website: "When you enter Canada, a CBSA officer may ask to see your passport and a valid visa, if one is necessary. If you are a citizen of the United States, you do not need a passport to enter Canada. However, you should carry proof of your citizenship, such as a birth certificate, certificate of citizenship or naturalization, as well as photo identification." However, from the Department of Homeland Security website, as of June 1, 2009 you *will* need a passport to enter the US on your return. Ref: http://www.dhs.gov/files/crossingborders/travelers...

You can't cross into any country without a valid passport. If the grey hound company told him what to do, and he does it then im guess they know what their talking about and will let him in.
Im from canada i know they wont let you in without a valid passport.
