Why do bad things happen: Revised?
Okay so, for about a month I have wondered about these things
1. My grandfather died two years ago, and I understand the taking him to heaven theory, but what did my mom and Uncle do to deserve losing their father, and what did Grandma do to lose the one person in this world who was everything to her?
2. I don't think free will has anything to do with it. Where was free will when Natalee Holloway was raped and killed? If it was the rapists free will, then how can we be equal when he has more free will than she did?
3. Spiritual test is out too. The three year old who was brutally murdered must have failed that test, and the earthquake victims too eh?
Any answers are appreciated, but please dont't just get on her and try to say God is not real, because that is a fool's errand.
Okay so none of your answers actually answered anything. Did I not go over why free will doesnt work? As for my grandfathers death, it is totally relevant that he had a family because spiritually speaking God punished them by taking him( he was not old and sick either 63, healthy, currently unexplained hear attack.)

So far Matthew is making sense, although not helping me get over my struggle at explaining this to people.

1) Sadly, people die. Whether there's a god or not, the human body cannot currently function forever, and death is an inevitability. However, grieving is natural.
2) This is why rape is a crime. The rapist is infringing on his victim's rights. We all have free will in equal quantities, but unfortunately some people use theirs for bad ends.
3) Most Christians would argue that life is the test and death is nearly the point where you're told it's over. Unfortunately, unpleasant events do occur, which can lead to the death of the innocent and/or large numbers of people. This would suggest to me that any gods are perhaps not omnipotent personifications of love, but perhaps some sort of cosmic engineer.

You're trying to understand these events as part of a social-interactive scheme. That's called a category error.
People die because they get old and sick. That he was part of a family is irrelevant.
Bad things happen because we live in an uncaring universe governed by physical causation, not the desires or expectations of human psychology. .

1. the free will is given when we were in the Bramajote, the line between spiritual world and the material world. Most souls head to the spiritual world, some like us , fall to the material world, than we will take several birth in Heaven and Earth planets, accordingly to our activity, karma:
Four Types of Karma
1. Sanchita Karma (Sum Total Karma or "Accumulated actions" or the Arrows in the Quiver)
Sanchita Karma is the vast store of piled-up Karma accumulated in the preceding and in all other previous births and yet to be resolved. In other words, it is the aggregate sum of yet unseen Karmas committed during innumerable previous existences. This is your total cosmic debt. Every moment of your every day, you are either adding to it or you are reducing this cosmic debt. It is waiting to be fulfilled in your future births. So unless and until the Sanchita Karma of a Soul is zeroed, it keeps on birthing in new physical bodies, in order to exhaust it's balance Sanchita Karma.
2. Praarabdha Karma
that is ripe enough to be experienced by you and alloted for this lifetime for you to work on.
3. Kriyamana Karma
It refers to those which are currently in front of us to decide or act on.
4. Aagami Karma (Future Karma)
Aagami Karma is the Karmic Map that is coming, as a result of the merits and demerits of the present actions of your current birth.
Till one day we, by the result of accumulate pious activities and the mercy of a holy person we can't get out of this planet meant for suffering and go to the spiritual planets.

nicely, i do no longer think of you're cursed. quite often because of the fact i do no longer think in that style of concern. i think of you have chosen undesirable friends. ask your self this: in case you have been via your self, might you get into worry? If the respond is "no", locate distinctive friends. Yeah, that's going to be stressful on the beginning up. yet no longer so stressful as having a sprint one at sixteen, or going to penitentiary.

1. Everyone will eventually die. We all will deal with the loss of loved ones and face our own deaths.
2. We all have free will. Life isn't fair.
3. See #2.

You think too much, little girl. If you knew the answers to all these questions, god couldn't let you live.

It is fate and time cycle. It is set to go like this, otherwise all the priests will claim that they are part of Jesus Christ!

All is just a statistic. No God. No meaning. No purpose. It's just the way the cookie crumbles!

Due to your sins
If you like and support Peace, Justice and Unity in the World; you have to follow the Path of Lord Abraham (Brahma)(Forefather of Jews, Christians and Muslims). His basic teaching was of Monotheism and he considered Polytheism as the greatest and non-forgivable sin. http://www.sultan.org/
