How long on bus (or tube) from N15 to city centre?
I am moving soon to London and I will eb looking at flats this month. One flat is in N15 (near Turnpike Lane) - an area I do not know at all. How long would it be from there to travel into the city centre either by bus or tube?
I am talking about London - and my nearest tub station would be Turnpike Lane and a bit further away Seven Sisters.

Hi there!
If you are on a budget and need to go by bus then there are 2 buses which go into London. You have the 29 bus which goes from Wood Green to Trafalgar Square, passing through Camden Town and Tottenham Court Road, or the 141 which starts from Palmers Green and goes through Wood Green high road towards turnpike lane and goes to London Bridge passing through Newington Green and Moorgate. They are quite frequent in the rush hours but do take longer because of the traffic and are usually quite full after 8am, school kids and office workers etc. The tube is usually busy too, packed in like sardines but there is no road traffic! Hope this is of help to you. From seven sisters you could get the bus 149 which goes to London Bridge and passes through Shoreditch or the number 73 bus which goes into central london, like Tottenham Court Road, Oxford Street.

Turnpke Lane (Piccadilly Line) takes longer than the Victoria Line from Seven Sisters. Seven Sisters is definitely N15 whereas I thought Turnpike Lane was N8
