Why are Mothers always denying their children?
When a child asks for a drink, it's always whether the Mother wants to be bothered whether the child gets a drink or not.

I never have and never will deny my child a drink (non-alcoholic, cause I'm not sure where you're going with this) or nourishment. I get off of my butt and help him out. Or, if he can get whatever it is on his own I instruct him to do so. I would consider denying your child water or food to be abuse.
But, I did see the footage about 6 months ago of Kate Gosslin denying her child water on television. It's pretty clear why she would. She's obviously unstable.

My child will always be told she has legs and can use them to get herself to a tap and a glass of water. If she is asking for fizzy, suger filled drinks, she will not be allowed them all the time and I have no worries over saying no! When she was small, she always had a bottle full of water available. The only time I ever said no to a drink was just before a meal when I wanted her to eat properly and not filled up with drink - but never in hot weather.

Well I don't deny my son anything to drink. But I do limit his juice intake. It's water through out the day then juice at dinner or a few times in between.
Also he is at that age where he is independent enough to get himself a drink.
Oh another thing my son has a tendency to do is take a few sips of his water then 10 minutes later ask to get another one. At that point he is told no and to finish the drink he has.

I simply tell my son that he knows where they are he can get one. If he can't reach the cups or ice I get that for him. If he needs help opening it, I help him do that too. Not all mothers deny their children drinks. If it is something I don't think he should drink then no, he's not going to get it but he is welcome to find anything else.

I always tell them to drink from the bird bath outside of our porch if I am not in the mood to be bothered.

That's why you leave them outside on the porch next to a hose.

Because we have important things to do, like gossip, smoking cigs and spying on the neighbors. Geez, we can't do everything!
Silly Satan!

Well I can understand why you'd ask that ? but the truth is that we are all different. I put my kids before me. So i'm not that type of mom. I value my kids. i know they are gift from God.
