Rabbits should not be bathed. It causes a lot of unneeded stress for them. To clean my rabbits, I use spray on shampoo (I will put the link under sources!) and it works great. I just spray it on, wipe most of it off and put my bunny back in the cage. I highly recommend this product because it smells fantastic and is easy to use. If your rabbit gets really dirty, wipe it down with a wet, warm washcloth and that should do! Hope this helps!

Edit: I forgot to add that in most situations rabbits clean themselves. This is a wild instinct. They would keep themselves really clean so predators could not smell them easily. Also I only clean mine once or twice a month, when they get really dirty, or when they smell! Hope this helps!!

You don't ever bathe a rabbit unless it is injured or ill and unable to groom itself. It's very stressful for them- some can even go into shock and die when bathed by a well-meaning owner. They are self-cleaning and a healthy rabbit in a properly cleaned enclosure keeps itself scrupulously clean. You may wipe a dirty area with a damp washcloth or unscented baby wipe or pet wipe. but they shouldn't be bathed. You should brush them regularly, clean their genital scent glands and trim their nails about every 6 weeks, and that should be the extent of grooming necessary for a short-haired breed like the Netherland Dwarf. Usually when people think their pet rabbits smell bad, it is a result of scent glands that are badly in need of cleaning.

Rabbits don't need to be bathed. They are very good at grooming themselves. A bath can be quite stressful for a rabbit.

You should brush your rabbit regularly. If there are any dirty spots, a damp cloth can be used.

The other answers given are correct.

Now, just my personal opinion, if i was to use any type of product on my pet, I like to read reviews on them first. I have yet to find a review on the product the person above mentioned. I am not saying it isn't good, cause Dr. Fosters and Smith does sell good products, it's just that I couldn't find any mention to ingredients either. Anyway just my opinion.

    Good luck!
