Good neighborhoods in DFW?

We lived in some great apartments in Plano before we bought our house. It's the La Ventura Apt. They are off Preston Road between Park & Parker, at 2600 Ventura. It's a lovely, safe neighborhood with houses on the next street priced at half a million dollars or more. It's close to shopping and restaurants. There's a school across the street and we'd walk our dog in the yard behind the school, although there's lots of grassy areas in the complex too. The complex is gated with 1, 2, or 3 bed room apartments, each has a utility room, walk in closets, alarm system & carport parking. Some units have a fireplace, hardwood floors & garages. There's a large pool, water & sand volleyball, horseshoe pit, bar-b-que grills, jacuzzi, fitness center, tanning bed & clubhouse with billiards. They have 24 hour emergency maintenance. Rent ranges from under $700 - $1,500. There's a cash rebate now of $125 for a 7 mo lease and $175 for a 12 mo lease.

in case you choose to be close to the airport I advise Grapevine or Arlington. the two have great neighborhoods that are 15 minutes far off from the airport. Grapevine has a small city experience to it besides the undeniable fact that it incredibly is increasing like loopy.
