My husband and I (plus cat & small dog) are moving to the DFW area. Looking for a neighborhood and an apartment on-line is frustrating. Can anyone recommend some decent areas that fit our criteria. We are flexible, so not everything has to be met.

So, I know I will have to remove my contacts for the actual exam. How long BEFORE the exam do I have to remove them? Can I wear them until I show up at the office, or do I have to remove them several hours before arriving?

Do I have to remove my contact lenses for an eye exam? My vision is really bad (-11.5), and I hate wearing my glasses.

I've had a close friend for 30 years. We met as toddlers, our families knew eachother and are friendly. We considered the other's family as our own. I always tried to keep in contact by email/phone but sometimes forget birthdays (even my mom's), and I've gone out of my way to visit her when I can. She, on the other hand, never calls or responds to emails, has only visited twice while on the way to somewhere more exciting, but does send b-day cards. She seems to think that sending b-day cards makes her a better friend. About two years ago I moved much farther away and made a quick trip home to visit . I knew she wouldn't be able to come to town b/c she was busy. Halfway through the weekend, I found out she was there and chose to avoid me b/c she didn't have time. I was hurt. I have chosen to end the friendship but am feeling pressure from family. I fear my next trip home because I think they're trying to plan an "accidental" meeting.

My husband is running a marathon right now. I'm making homemade (100%) pizza for his post-run meal. Aside from cheese and tomato sauce, it will have salami, fresh mushrooms, fresh tomatoes, and fresh onions. Is this an adequate meal for after the run?

(He'll already have eaten a banana and some chocolate by the time he arrives home.)

I have a hip injury and can't do any physical activity that puts pressure on it like jogging, soccer (that's how I injured it), etc. I can bike ride, swim, etc.

Unfortunately at the moment, it's rainy and cold where I am. What sorts of indoor activities can you think of to do at home to get an aerobic workout for fat-burning purposes?
