Parents: Have you ever wanted a children's book on a particular theme but couldn't find one? What theme?

What theme were you looking for and why?

going from being the youngest in the family to having an younger sibling. Every book I looked at had an child going from being an only child to an older sibling.

I had my 4th in August and was looking for a book for my 3yr son that would show him about being a big brother, but have a character he could relate to, one with older siblings as well. I feel that going from the youngest to one of the "big kids" is different than just becoming an older sibling.

I love collecting children's books from each new city I visit. It really made me mad when I was in Savannah, GA this past spring and found only one children's book, which I deemed too young for my kids (they're 6 and 7 and can read on their own now). I love the regional flavor and wish there were more like that.

I was looking for a children's book dealing with divorce (for really small children). They had a couple of books available at Barnes and Noble but none that were really adequate.

I looked for books on different religions and never found them. I ended up creating a picture book of my own. I wanted to talk about Islam, Judaism, Catholocism, Paganism, etc., not just Christian religions.
