How do you copy Microsoft Outlook contact files and appointments to a new computer?

I currently have XP, but my computer is about to die. I will be getting a new computer with Vista in a couple of weeks. How do I transfer all of my Outlook data to the new computer?

browse your computer using explorer, go to your local drive (usually its drive c:\) then go to "documents and settings, administrator, local settings (if you cant see the folder, check your folder options under "view" and set it to "show hidden files and folders"),application data, microsoft, then outlook(the complete path should be "c:\documents and settings\administrator\local settings\application data\microsoft\microsoft outlook" , copy everything and paste it to your new computer, (same path) and thats it!

Click File/ Import and export. Choose export to a file. The select Personal folder file (.pst). Follow instructions and save this file either to a new pc or burn to a cd. On your new PC open outlook and click Import and export. Click import from another file or program. Browse to the pst file you created from old PC and follow instructions
