Guitar Hero World Tour guitar's strummer is broken.....?
Is there anything I can do about it? I bought it last September so I don't have the receipt anymore so I can't return it.
I had a look online and people are suggesting to change the switchboard or something but that means I gotta buy parts I'm not familiar with and a solderer...

The only thing you can do is buy a new one, or buy the parts. The most likely reason it's broken is because of the wiring inside, which requires the parts to fix it. It's cheaper, and safer, to buy a new one.
