I want to learn more about marketing and perhaps even go on to specialise in marketing. What I'm wondering is is innovation a key quality for this kind of degree? Do you have to create a new brand or anything within the course? also, what jobs are available after a degree in business and marketing?

why is it I do?

The item of clothing in question is lingerie. I'm not small enough to fit into a size 6 but size 12 is too big on me. Not sure which size to buy. I'm worried 6 - 8 will be too tight in the wrong places...

There isn't a size 8 - 10 option :(

I recently went into a branch to purchase a copy of Battlefield 3. The transaction itself went smoothly, however, I was offended by the attitude of one your employees towards female gamers. Whilst buying the game, said employee started talking about the game and selling a MW3 pre-order to, not me - the paying customer - but to my boyfriend. Whilst I understand that games such as BF3 are generally dominated by males, I think that was an unfair assumption that your employee took. Even after my boyfriend corrected him on his assumption, no apology was made.

Working in retail myself, it is to my understanding that all customers should be treated fairly and in the same way as well asking and offering all customers the same deal if they fall within the required conditions. If your employee had offered ME personally the pre-order, I probably would have taken it but considering as I wasn't the one offered, I made no comment.

To conclude, I don't want to seem like a raging feminist, but on this particular occasion, I felt like I was treated unfairly - especially as a paying customer. I should hope that this was an isolated case confined to one individual and not the attitude that you encourage within your workforce.

I'm in the process of creating a new email address that I can put on my CV/resume. Basically, my name is androgynous and you can't tell my gender. It also isn't shorthand for anything (like Sam could be Samantha)

I was thinking about using my name and basically putting "Miss" in front of it.

e.g. if my name was Sam Davis: misssamdavis@emailprovider.com

Do you think that putting "Miss" in front of my name would make it look unprofessional and childish? More importantly do you think revealing my gender in my email address or CV is necessary? If you were an employer would you be put off by my potential email address?

What suggestions for CV-safe email addresses do you have?

So, I just found this in my house recently. Can you identify whether it's a PS1 or PS2 memory card? No writing to indicate what it is. It does have a website on it www.3d2.com but the site doesn't exist anymore. (well it does, but it's not the same site anymore) I'm looking to sell it on eBay y'see. Basically, I bought a jacket in the sale from Jane Norman and the first time I wore it a button fell off. I thought, no big deal, so I sewed it back on. Then the next time I wore the jacket two more buttons fell off... so I kinda just managed without the buttons, then I wore the jacket again yesterday and another two buttons fell off.... I've only had the jacket for less than two weeks!

What can I do?

Yeah, you probably think I'm stupid. But honestly, can I still eat it? It's just that it was a realllllly good cottage pie... the pie has been covered for the whole time. Kitchen temperature is about 17 degrees Celsius.

I listed some lego on eBay and one buyer won 3 items last week but he hasn't paid for them yet. I thought I'd give him at least a week before I contact him. After my first batch of listings, I list some more lego on eBay and this same buyer, who hasn't paid me yet, won another item. So, in total he owes me 4 payments.

Why would he bid on another item knowing he hasn't paid yet for the first batch? He hasn't even contacted me to let me know when he plans to pay... hasn't been quite a week yet since the first 3 items but I'm just a little confused. what shall I do?

Also, the buyer has very good feedback and isn't new to eBay with a 100% feedback score at 715

Is there anything I can do about it? I bought it last September so I don't have the receipt anymore so I can't return it.

I had a look online and people are suggesting to change the switchboard or something but that means I gotta buy parts I'm not familiar with and a solderer...

I mean, we can recyle plastic but why isn't all the plastic we use recycled plastic? I mean for things like food packaging... like plsatic bottles. I know Volvic now have 100% recycled bottles for their water... but why haven't all other companies thought of this?

Surely, if the government cared that much about the environment they would implement a law saying all plastic bottles used have to be made from recycled plastic.

What are your thoughts?
