My computer is stuck in safe mode for Windows 7?
My step dads lap top is stuck in safe mode and it won't get out. What can I do to get out of safe mode so it can go back to normal? We've run System Restore and have rebooted the computer and its still stuck. The laptop came with Windows 7 so technically we can't reinstall the disc. What can we do to solve this problem?

this is weird.....however i still think u should fix this easily by hard shutting down the computer( from the power button) when it comes back up it should say that the computer has detected a sudden crash( or has been shut down inappropriately) and give u the option to start in safe mode, or start up normally. just use ur up and down arrows to select start up normally

Try rebooting and hitting/holding the F8 key to enter the boot menu and select normal.

What have you been downloading, because there are some viruses that wipeout the entire hard drive.
