If your cycles are pretty regular, it's safe to say that you'll probably ovulate about two weeks (give or take a few days) before your period is supposed to start. You should have sex on the days leading up to and the day of ovulation. Look for fertile signs, like really stretchy cervical mucous, increased sex drive, etc. If you want to pinpoint ovulation a little easier, try charting your Basal Body Temperature (BBT) on fertilityfriend.com. It will help you determine when you ovulate so that it's easier to predict in the coming months.
There are fertility drugs that help you ovulate, but I think doctors don't usually consider giving it to you until you've tried to conceive for a while. One of those drugs is Clomid.
Clomid stimulates the release of hormones necessary for ovulation to occur. It is mainly used for treating female infertility.
Clomid is used to stimulate ovulation (the release of an egg) when a woman's ovaries can produce a follicle but hormonal stimulation is deficient.
Good Luck!
