Book recommendations?
I'm going on holiday in two days and need to find a good book at the airport to read on the plane.
The sort of books I like are The Chronicles of Ancient Darkness (the series by Michelle Paver)
Trust Me, by Jeff Abbott
And The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown.
Any suggestions?

I always suggest Piers Anthony's "Incarnations of Immortality" series. Brilliantly written, somewhat sexual and amazing stories. You'd have to start with "On a Pale Horse".
Sometimes I go back and read the classics again such as Frank Baum's Oz series, Chronicles of Narnia, Anne Rice's Servant of the Bones, etc.

amazing books i have read
1. the road (is now a movie) - a father and son travel a road trying to find a better place. esacping cannibalism and i think the word is ending in the book.
2. into the wild (true story) - about a man who grew up wealthy and went to live in nature burning half his money. ends up dying :(
3. the kite runner - placed in india. amazing book. strongly suggested.
