Is it bad to...? (iPod Touch Question)?

leave your iPod plugged into the computer all night long? And if it's not harmful, can I do it every night without it being harmed? Will it decrease the battery life?

    hey there..no there is no need to worry with lithium new battery u dont have to worry about the dangers of over charging since ur battery will automaticlly stop charging after its full

    That rather depends. If you have your screen activated then of course the battery will burn out as it is being charged. And this will eventually damage the battery and make it less affective.

    If the screen is locked then the battery isn't the problem but you should take fire hazard into consideration of course.

    Lastly, do not leave your ipod in the charger during a longer period of time, like several days. This might damage your components due to heat.

    It's more harmful that your computer is switched on all night, recipe for disaster.
