How do I know I have a 'Pearlescent' weapon in Borderlands?
I'm curious to see what the big deal is, seems they're all the rage with the collectors. I might have one or two but I can't find a confirmation. And I feel silly asking. Are they the ones labeled 'Pearl' or are they labeled 'Pearlescent'? I would not be suprised if I haven't found one.
I have Borderlands + Secret Armory DLC, no Underdome or Zombie Island.

Pearlescent weapons are denoted by a cyan weapon text. They are extremely rare and almost never drop (I've been playing since February and only have 2). Weapons with the Pearl prefix are not pearlescent, the prefix just denotes the quality of the weapon (in this case Atlas tier 3 material)
Also, if you play online, watch out for modded pearlescents. They can wreak havoc on your save games.
