Why do we only get a small number of questions from UK?

Most of these questions are from the USA and reflect the quality of education (not) there!

If you ask a question that is spelt correctly... Americans don't understand it. Consequently we Brits get only a few answers no matter how brilliantly incisive our questions might be!

I rarely ask questions where the answer might conceivably be... "Duh!"... "Dunno"... or some other pimply hyperbole.

The UK is predominately intelligent and educated. It is a bit like starting a chat room that involves all the primates. It will take some time for the lower orders to contribute anything useful.

All the political questions are USA oriented. Considering some of the questions asked in here I'm not really surprised at your question. The surprise would be to see more questions in here from the UK. There appears to be more "attacking" going on than simply giving an opinion, or answering a question with a backup of facts.

That is very cynical and is just a generalization. I find that most (not all) questions from the USA are intresting. The amount of people using YA on the YA UK site are generally UK users but it depends on the time of the day.

I dunno, I think quite a few are from british people, but it's not always obvious - unless you specifically work 'uk' into your question people will assume it's american....

Daniel mate, the majority of your pop is spanish-speaking though innit? they don't actually speak english do they? So like, in a comparison of people using the 'english' version of this, I'd say the numbers are pretty similar kidda - also your source is a website called "trueknowledge" wtf is that?!

The population of the UK is one fifth that of the US.

Also, answerers don't always identify where they are from.

I don't actually know. But I guess it has something to do with the american population being around 308,367,109

and the british population being around 60,291,129

and yet you are now asking a question...

these intelligent brits make my head hurt...

perhaps thats why we fought (and won) for our own nation)

at least u superior folks dont have to deal with us.

  • 1 decade ago

Well, if you all are so superior... it probably has to do with the fact that you know it all. :P

*edit* : You may have missed it, what with you being so much smarter and better and all.... i was being sarcastic
