how can water be getting inside the door sills of my 2005 corsa?
I pulled a plug out under the drivers door and the water poured out! This was a chance idea because the footwells on drivers side were soaking all winter. The car has dried out but Im driving with this plug out as a last resort.
the door and window seals are fine. there are two small drain holes under the door seal at the bottom, should I poke something in them to make sure they are clear?
The water isnt inside the door, its the bottom of the door frame. Mybe Im describing it wrong, dumb blonde moment lol.

It's normal for water to be inside doors of a car. You have plugged up drain holes in your door. Open the door and look at the bottom of the door you should see some slits take a piece of wire like a hanger and use it to clear out the holes this should cure your problem. Water gets in the doors by running down the glass when it rains and from condensation.

That is why the plug is there, but there should also be a small drain hole, make sure it is clear.
