I placed an order and used gift certs as part payment. My card was declined and they emailed me to update details. I updated as asked and the payment went through, however, the g/certs were not applied. They are not in my account and on trying to re-enter the codes were not accepted as they have been used. Has this happened to anyone else?

How do I get the value of my gift certificates back?

I pulled a plug out under the drivers door and the water poured out! This was a chance idea because the footwells on drivers side were soaking all winter. The car has dried out but Im driving with this plug out as a last resort.

Im driving a 2005 corsa energy twinport 1.2 and about two weeks ago discovered a puddle in the rear driverside footwell. I blamed the kids for spilling water but the swimming pool is there every day despite being soaked up with numerous towels.

My hours increased a little in October and I informed WTC people by phone. The lady asked me for an estimate of my earnings up to April 2009. I estimated £6000 thinking I would be under that amount and the wtc was adjusted. However in my April payslip ,due to backpay, Im at £6143 with a taxable gross of £5838.

Question is, which figure do they use and if its the £6143 do I owe them some money?

when my heating is turned on the downstairs radiators remain cold, this has happened gradually over a few days until today when they are freezing. I turned all the radiators upstairs off and now the ones downstairs are extremely hot. I let the system run like this for an hour and turned it off. Later I went and turned all the upstairs rads back on along with the downstairs ones and started the heating. All the upstairs ones are hot and again no heat to downstairs.

Ive had to turn the upstairs ones off again to heat downstairs.

the pump is in the hotpress and is really hot in either case.

Any ideas??

I understand that it is a usb connection but how do I get the pc to recognise this instead of the parallel port?
