Puddle in the rear driverside footwell?

Im driving a 2005 corsa energy twinport 1.2 and about two weeks ago discovered a puddle in the rear driverside footwell. I blamed the kids for spilling water but the swimming pool is there every day despite being soaked up with numerous towels.

Anyone any ideas?

Its under network q warranty until the end of January, will I be covered for leaks?

Ok sounds like the rear off side window seal, or poss the rear of the drivers door seal, other options have you checked the rear seat, and under the rear seat,as had same prob with a ford fiesta, found the rear seat soaked after heavy rain and the window seal wasn't sealed at the bottom edge, silicon clear sealant 20 minutes fixed, or the boot seal is also a possible, ,but it wont be the heater matrix as that's under the dashboard in front of your left knee, other option is the floor pan may have popped a seal some floor pans have round plates fitted and these can pop up or out and the water is sprayed up into the carpet and seeps around to the top to sit there, hope this helps, it will be better than LOL as 2nd answer was cheers.

I have a Seat Leon and have the same problem at the moment, doesn't sound quite as bad as yours though. It's been very wet recently as I'm sure you've noticed!

It's a known fault on the Leons and is down to the door seals not fitting properly.

I know that it was covered by the manufacturer warranty (which has now expired) I imagine it is the same with Vauxhall - take it in to your local dealer and see what they say...

The wheel bearing is a conceivable reason yet first examine that the tyre rigidity is okay. If the tyre has inadequate air in it the noise you describe is one that should happen. If the tyre is okay then Jack up the motor vehicle on that edge and grip the wheel good and backside and circulate it, in case you are able to returned and forth (not rotating). If the bearing has worn then you definately will sense the play on the wheel and are available across a clonking noise.

    3door or 5door?

Check window seals and also door seals also check the rear tailgate seals for rips and tears.

It will not be the heater matrix as said as the front mats would also be soaked.

As for the warranty, it will be covered as it shouldn't leak plain and simple, so personally I would be taking it to the garage ASAP before it starts to make the whole car smell damp.

Looks like its comming in from the rear hatch, the seal maybe kinked between the body of the car and rear hatch, also check that the rear light clusters aren't loose water can get in from there also

Check its not losing coolant first. Your heater matrix sits above there and can leak into that area. After that it could be a door seal, window seal and the list goes on. Ask network Q if they will do anything. They can only give one of two answers.

It might be a faulty door seal, I would take it back to the garage and get it checked out. Continued water damage can be costly.
