Why must we wait several days before dying/bleaching our hair again?

Are there any reasons other than the damage it can do to the hair?

Update:

Update 2:

I guess you have to wait several days between bleaching so you can give your hair time to repair itself, as bleaching is stripping the hair of it's natural colour. Damaging your hair is the main concern with repeatedly bleaching it, as it might dry the hair out too much or the chemicals in it may cause it to break and become fragile. I think it also depends on whether you have long or short hair, bleaching long hair repeatedly will have a higher chance of causing damage and breakage to the ends compared to short hair.

    I hope I helped!

I'm sure your hair is no different than the rest of ours: It's made up of mostly protein; it grows from your scalp; and it can be damaged by harsh chemicals. So, yes, bleaching your hair within days of the first bleach job WILL kill your hair. If that's something you're willing to deal with then go for it, but don't act like your hair is made out of some super tough material, because it's not.

ADDED: Yeah, you're so mature - NOT! If all you wanted was people telling you what you want to hear then why did you even ask the question? Go ahead and bleach your hair - I don't care. My hair is strong and healthy, so I don't care about yours. Plus, HAIR DOES NOT REPAIR ITSELF. THat's the stupidest stuff I"ve heard besides someone asking if they can put motor oil in their hair. Really, the whole point of saying not to bleach often and if you do then only bleach your roots is because bleach completely fry your hair and make it fall out. What are you thinking double bleaching will do? Dye it pink or something? For real, bleach strips the color out of your hair, what else are you expecting? This question shows your lack of intelligence. I mean, really, try using logic to solve your questions! And no one was judgmental, people stated facts - learn the difference and stop being overemotional.
