I want a headset that will work with Xbox live chat, Ps3 online chat and also be able to sink with my computer. I would like to be able to listen to what I am playing plus anyone who I am chatting with, then also to mix in some music or something that I would have on my laptop.

Yes I know that I should just not use the headset and it would solve all my problems but I do need some quiet in the house.

I want to upgrade my bulbs from 55w halogen to 100w hid and my only concern is if the fittings will be able to handle the extra heat.

The temp of the 100w hid bulbs can go to 105c and maybe a little bit more.

Are the fittings able to handle those sort of temps?

I wash my dishes in very hot water, the gloves I use (generic Coles brand) hardly keep the heat out at all - my hands feel like they're burning and are always red afterwards. I'm worried about possible long-term effects this could have on my hands. So, I was wondering if anyone knows of a better brand of gloves to switch to?

Basically, I'm from Australia and I know the games will be insanely overpriced when they're released here ($70 for ONE game?!).

I've heard that the new games will be region-locked for DSi's and 3DS's when they're released. So this is a bit of a stupid question, but I wanted to know your opinions/knowledge on the matter.

So, is it worth me buying the games from overseas?

When I load Farmville or Cafe World on the main PC, it doesn't quite fit correctly. About 50-100px is cut off on the edge. It gets annoying because some in-game pop-ups can't be closed due to this problem.

From what I can tell, Cafe World runs on Adobe Flash Player (don't know if that information will help anyone).

I've tried changing the resolution, which didn't change a thing in-game.

If anyone knows how to fix this, that would be great.

I have short hair, and am wondering how to grow it out as soon as possible.

Common sense tells me just letting it grow would be the most efficient method.

However, all my hairdressers (over the years) have told me a regular trim every 6-8 weeks promotes hair growth.

So which is it?

A month ago I moved into a place with slate tiling/floors. It's fine to walk on and everything, but when it comes to cleaning it's just too uneven to do a good job.

I use a side-sweep broom to sweep the floors, but the dirt gets caught in all the grooves. And a sponge mop that's already been worn down to barely anything. Is there anything I can replace these with that'll do a better job?

Are there any reasons other than the damage it can do to the hair?

Well, I started off with really dark brown hair. Got sick of it and bleached it to a bright yellow kind of colour (yuck).

Anyway, I want to fix it to maybe a light brown or sandy brown with an all-in-one box kit you can buy at supermarkets.

My hair is slightly drier than usual, but still quite healthy, how long should I wait until I dye again?

More to the point, why is it irrational?

I've started using an oil-based moisturizer on my face, to try to clear up the excess oil I've been getting on my forehead, due to my fringe now covering it (I'm using an oil-based product because I read in a magazine that you should fight "fire with fire", or oil with oil in this case).

It seems to be working, my forehead is much less problematic. However, since I've started using this product, the rest of my face has become extremely dry (to the point of mild flaking).

So basically I was wondering if using my oil-based product on just my forehead, and a different one to counter my dry cheeks and chin, would balance out my whole face?

Oh and product suggestions would be helpful. :)

My boyfriend's birthday is in 2 weeks and I have no idea what to get him.

He wants me to put in for some car part, but I want to get him something that will last, is special, and won't be chucked in the back of the closet in a month's time.

He is the hardest person to buy for, everyone I've spoken to is clueless on what to get him.

Why do you feel you have the right to judge how another person lives or does with their body?

My mum always used to tell me "if you put the clothes in the wash inside-out the water won't be able to get into them and your clothes will still be dirty".

I never believed her, so she continued to receive inside-out clothing from me.

But now that I'm at the age of doing my own washing, her words have come back to haunt me and I've started to wonder - is there any truth in what she used to tell me?

My boyfriend wants a burger before he goes to work, and we can't find anything about public holiday timetables.

With people these days trying to find ways to write faster and faster (and sometimes just forgetting), I see our poor apostrophe getting dropped at least twice a day.

Do you think the apostrophe's future is looking dim? Or will the English Language Police step in and put a stop to bad spelling and grammar?
