What is the heat threshold of the fog lights on a 2004 subaru impreza?
I want to upgrade my bulbs from 55w halogen to 100w hid and my only concern is if the fittings will be able to handle the extra heat.
The temp of the 100w hid bulbs can go to 105c and maybe a little bit more.
Are the fittings able to handle those sort of temps?

Your HID will eventually burn the fog light, if not the glass part but the back reflector shield.
Try to use regular 80-100w bulbs for the fog and then it should be okay.
Or you should use the 55w (4000k) HID regular bulb.
