Personally, I would rank them up there as one of mankind's most utterly deplorable contributions to this planet. Somewhere between global warming and nuclear weapons...
I actually feel ashamed to be a member of the same species as the mindless buffoons that created them. It never ceases to amaze me how so many clueless advertising executives can dream up this sort of embarrassing, cringe worthy nonsense genuinely believing it'll improve their brand identity. I already had a Halifax account and I'm almost tempted to close it down purely because of these irritating, money wasting simpletons. Other special mentions must head out to the Go Compare and Compare The Market abominations, for similarly impressive levels of nausea-inducing stupidity. Thank God for the mute button, eh?
I swear advertising was never this bad when I was a kid in the 80s and 90s - R Whites Lemonade, the Milky Bar kid, etc. Or perhaps I was just too young to notice...

When you see the sheer professionalism of the Virgin 25 years ad, and Cadburys Gorilla, you wonder which primary school the present lot of ad makers are attending Bring back Howard for Halifax. That woman with the nodding head singing ice ice is the worst of the present bunch.
Rant over.

LOL, they need to go away. They are completely annoying and lame.
Every time they appear I can't help but cringe in disbelief that someone actually came up with the stupid and ridiculous idea of 'DJ BANKERS' ???!!.
I actually hate them more that those car comparison adverts, which says something.
All these "quirky" TV adverts are trying to copy viral/internet ads. It just doesn't work on mainstream TV!

Pointless waste of investors money. Same as the Nationwide adverts, paying celebs with MY money, yet paying me less than 1% interest on my ISA.

They were good at one time or another but the novelty of them has now warn off. Now they are boring and very irrritating.
I use to like them and the music was kinda catchy but now I just turn the sound off or change channel.
