Is it tacky to wear a see-through white linen shirt with a black bra?

Absolutely tacky. You don't want people to see your bra, so if your bra is visible through your shirt, don't wear the bra. Its far better to wear no bra.

Yes it is very tacky and believe me; people will notice it and stare. You may want to wear a tank top under your shirt or wear a completely different shirt.

You can easily pick up a white bra at almost any store for a fairly cheap price.

its not tacky but if you are that worried about it try toning down your taste just a little and do something that will help others and teach you to be less picky and less like a spoiled rich brat. sorry, i know that sounds mean, but if it hurts your feelings that just means i'm hitting close to home. seriously though... if your size isn't common you really may have to move away from the klein and have them specially made which in some cases could cost more than calvin klein.

Kinda tacky. On your shopping trip, buy a not-black bra, OK? At the same time, do what you're comfortable doing. I mean, only YOU know what you're fine doing and wearing, and if people judge you while you're shopping, big deal.

It's tacky. The first stop when you shop should be the bra department. You need to expand your bra collection to include a few bras that are very close to your natural skin tone to wear under whites and pastels.

I think it would lookk better if you wore a bathing suit underneath. The bra would look OK though, not totally horrible :D A bathing suit would look super cute. Or buy a bra that is close to your skin color, try kohls or walmart, they have the best deals! :D Hope I could help.

no it isn't, from the sounds of it any colour bra worn under it would show through, if you don't want people to see your bra then don't wear one

it is alittle bit tacky, but If you are just going shopping then I don't see the problem. But if people stare you brought it on yourself. have fun(:
