No. A company will hire until marginal product of labor is equal to marginal cost of labor. Neither is impacted by the tax rate the owner pays on profits. In other words, employers do not hire people because they have money left over, they hire people because hiring them will be profitable. Since we have never had income tax rates above 100%, that means the hiring is profitable regardless of the income tax rate. Special Unicorn - reinvesting money back into the business would LOWER the owner's income tax burden.

Sutherland Global Services hires plenty of folk to WAH [Work At Home] on at least their Cox Communications contract. That company may have other WAH opportunities as well.
