There is a guy who is my best friend. Really close to me. But my Friend who is a girl has text-ed him and she claims he has feelings for me. I got freaked out but shrugged it off. If he liked me he would have told me ... right? ... Well he came up to me days after and asked if i would give him a call. and he was kind of flirtatious. hes always like that but i just realized that day. im crushing on a different guy in my class though, and may actually be in love with him. how can i tell my bud that i like somebody else without hurting him? and how do i know he even does like me or if im parinoid?

You can't. No matter how you tell him he'll be disappoint'd, the best you can do is be honest && gentle so that it hurts a tiny bit less. No one likes being reject'd ya know? But later he'll get over it && be thankful that you are at least friends.

and how do i know he even does like me or if im parinoid?

Ya ask him, or wait for him to tell you. Don't sweat it too much if you don't like him back.....
