Ladies, what would you get at a grocery store?

If you had to get about six items at a grocery store for your elder mother or an elderly woman?

    cheese, milk, bread, bananas, ready salted crisps, tea bags

    or for the funny answer

    tena lady, oil of olay, chocolate, prunes, barley water and maybe a bunch of flowers :)

    I'd get what she asked me to get...? But if you have to wing it, I'd say bread, milk, tea, juice, and a couple of frozen dinners, like a chicken dinner and a fish and chip supper. I'd need at least a vague idea of what she likes and what she has run out of.
