I need a new dishwasher: any recommendations?

I bought a Frigidaire (model # : FSB1050RES4) for $325 three years ago. I love it. I don't even have to scrape stuck on food from a pan before I put it in the dishwasher. My best friend's $800 Maytag won't do that.

I think a lot of the new dishwashers will do a good job of cleaning dirty dishes. The price usually varies with the amount of extra features they have on them. Consumer Reports magazine has an atrticle on them in their current issue. You might want to buy a copy or look at one in the library. You can also subscribe on line.

I suggest you look at the scratch and dent area of the store. You can pick one up for 1/4 of the selling price with a minor facial issue. Look for a tall tub.
