Why do liberals CLAIM that Bush tax cuts only benefited the rich?
Bush raised the child tax credit to $1000, he eliminated the death tax, reduced capital gains taxes, gave small business owners tax cuts that averaged $7000 per year, and ANYBODY who made more than $25,000 received a 2-3% tax cut on average! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bush_tax_cuts
So why do liberals continue to LIE by trying to CLAIM that Bush tax cuts only benefited the rich, when virtually ANYBODY who filed their taxes benefited? (tax cuts which by the way, are scheduled to expire in just 6 short months!)

Dem Spin is a liar. He did eliminate the death tax and it is coming back in 6 months when the tax cuts expire. Liberals dont know what the truth is

They do primarily favor the wealthy, in fact according to the republicans own estimate allowing the tax cuts to expire will increase taxes overall by 3 trillion dollars over the next 10 years - and they also point out that 800 billion of that increase will be for the middle and lower class. Or in other words according to them 73 percent of Bush's tax cuts have no impact on lower middle class citizens.
So its not to say the cuts don't impact middle class tax payers at all, just in a very small way and heavily favoring roughly 5 percent of the US Population.

MOSTLY benefited the rich. The great majority of the dollars when to people who make over 250K per year. I think it's over 90% of the actual money went to those people. That's why people claim they mostly benefit the rich. Good luck trying to figure this out. Maybe this little example can help.
If I give a middle class person 200 dollars and a wealthy person 20,000 dollars then I have benefited the rich person and the middle class person is pretty much unchanged financially.

They thought is that anyone who isn't on Government hand-out payrolls must therefor be "RICH". And the tax cuts benefit those rich people.
Funny, 8 of the 10 richest politicians are Democrats. I wonder how that happened?

And because of his tax cuts, we have a deficit again. When are you tards going to learn that bringing in less taxes while increasing spending is not balance in any system.

These are the same party who didn't read health bill or az law..or bother to read anything--they don't read the laws. and have no idea about the tax credit bill obama is do away with.
They think if they tell you a lie often enough--you will believe it--this is how they think and they are simple and weak minded they believe whatever anyone says often enough--they like obama.
That says it all, doesn't it?

Same reason they think people making under $250K aren't seeing a tax increase, they're lying.
