Cooling off a baby's room?

How do you keep your baby's room cool at night? It is getting soooo hot and I need some ideas on how to keep his room cool so he can sleep comfortably.

Update:

Obviously put a fan in the room. I already have a fan in the room.

Update 2:

Yeah, I'm thinking of investing in a portable a/c

Use a ceiling fan if you have one or a regular fan. I read that those can also be good for helping to prevent sids. Let your baby sleep in a onesie if you don't have air, use cotton sheets rather than flannel.

You can by an fan but make sure it is not directly on the baby. We have a Hampton Bay all metal frame fan along with the ceiling fan and it keeps our room cool as well

Does your house have an AC? I know in our house & when our kids were babies we were always worried even in the summer time that the room would get to cold due to the AC.

I'd say keep the door open at night so it won't get hot & stuffy in there.

I think I've heard also that a humidifier is good because it keeps moisture in the air. We did that for all 3 kids when they were babies.

We use a window air conditioner and keep it running on low all day and night. It doesn't get cold but stays comfortable. There is a ceiling fan too, but I prefer the air conditioner so I can sleep knowing that it isn't going to get unexpectedly too hot for her.

our son's crib is in our room and we have an a/c in there to make sure he stays cool, he has trouble sleepin when its warm, it usually gets cooler at night so u can put a fan in his window or just in front of him on the floor so he can feel it in his crib
