Ok so this guy asks me for my number. We text and everythings cool. He used to text me good night and good morning every day when we didnt talk in person. Now that we talk in person he never starts a conversation. The first day we truely talked in person, he kept making eye contact and trying to talk to me and saying how i was nice. I didnt flirt much with him just some eye contact,but i didnt really respond to much to him. THat day i left earlier than my best friend and she told me that he was trying to hold her hand and that he put his arm around her but that he was doing it to get her stalker "jealous" the nest time i saw him (today) he made barly any attempt to talk to me he just talked to my best friennd and he shoke her hair with his hand a couple times. Than when me and her kept talking he left..what could this mean?

Obviously, it's hard for me to know exactly...but I hope I can help!
If you had just told me about how he used to text you 'good morning' everyday...I would have guessed he liked you. Most men would only do that if they were interested in dating them.

Maybe the reason why he doesn't speak to you the way he used to before is because he might have felt that you weren't giving him the signals which would suggest that you like him too.

Your question has made me think that this fella is just after a girlfriend. That is to say, for him it doesn't matter who that person is...he just wants a partner. I'm sorry if I'm wrong, but that's the impression he gives.

It sounds like it's still early days...so I would give it a while just yet. You might be reading into things too much. Maybe the reason why he speaks to your friend more comfortably is because he might have had more time to get to know her when you had to leave early the other day.

I would recommend talking to your best-friend about all of this, and telling her how you feel.
