How can I find a valuation for the English landscape /pastel artist David Blackburn?
I own two early drawings by the renowned pastel artist, Dr David Blackburn, which I now might need to sell to finance a business venture. They were gifts to my parents who left them to me. How can I ascertain their value? I don't wish to go through the artist personally or his London gallery in case it causes offence.

Subscribe to artnet.com and you can get a feel for what his pieces have sold for (19 in past sales database) and are selling for (11 up for sale now).
