I'm 5'4" about, and 132lbs. Is this an okay weight?
I am a 14 year old female. My three best friends are super duper skinny, and I am a lot curvier than them. My thighs are bigger and I have a larger waist, and I have bigger boobs. I am currently not happy with my weight, but I know better than to start extreme dieting or having an eating disorder. Is there any way I could possibly slim down a bit too? Soccer starts in August, and I'd like to be fit for that.

This is my philosophy with weight problems and things. It never matters what weight you are, (well unless you are overly obese, which you are NOT)as long as you believe that you look okay, that's all that matters. I know what its like to be a little curvier that the rest of your friends, but that is NO reason to get an eating disorder or start extreme dieting, that is NEVER the answer. If you are so desperate to loose weight, I would just kick up the Cardio and weight training. This way, for soccer, you can build muscle and stamina in order to become better in it. And also, when your doing soccer you will be exercising so you will be keeping up your metabolism.
As a woman, we all have things about our body that we hate, and especially at your age, there is a lot of pressure to become super super skinny. But a little hint, not all boys like twigs for people. Curves are nothing to be ashamed about! If your healthy, get in 30 mins of exercise a day, and are still curvy (just like me, i got a butt, hips and thighs from playing soccer for 12 years... all muscle), there is nothing to be ashamed of.

You sound like you're a perfect weight. It's hard, but try not to compare yourself to your friends, because it's also really likely that you're just more developed than they are. Girls in middle school and early high school can tend to be super skinny because they grow a lot height wise before they gain the weight that comes with puberty. If you look at most grown women, even those who are thin, they have more weight on the hips, thighs, and boobs than a young teenage girl does. So, especially because you play soccer and need to be strong and healthy (not to mention you'll get fitter just by playing), don't even worry about your weight.

You have a body mass index of 22.66 which is perfectly normal weight for your height. You are very young, too young to be so worried about how skinny you are. Your friends are probably somewhat jealeous of your curves. You are by no means overweight and dieting would hurt you not help you. If you would like to tone up your body or get in shape for soccer season try jogging or taking long brisk walks. Everyone should exercise for 30 minutes a day. Make sure you are getting your daily excercise and stop comparing yourself to your thinner friends. Love yourself for who you are not how much you weigh!

You sound fine. According to BMI, you should be between 108 and 145. Of course that is just an estimate that doesn't take into account muscle mass and body composition. You are at an average weight and sound healthy to me. Don't focus on what your friends look like, everyone is different. If you are concerned, just start eating healthier and exercising. Focus on being fit and healthy.

people aren't all built the same, some girls are wider built and others thinner
don't do extreme dieting or anything rash, you should love yourself just the way you are
you are a good weight, but if you want to slim down soccer will help you do that

to find out is simple. U have to convert ur height into metres, and ur weight into kilograms. To be a good weight ur heeight and weight should be around the same.
I'v done that for u:
5'4ft=1.52m
132=59 kg
ur definetly not over weight, that's an excellent weight for ur height, don't worry!!

that is a perfect weight,don't listen to others taking you down
otherwise,you will go crazy and go eithe anorexic (force hunger) or bulemic (force puking).
