Do people of the Jewish faith believe Jesus was sent by God to die for our sins and that he rose from the dead?

That he ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father, what do people of Jesus faith actually believe?

    No.

The Jews were told that a Messiah would come. They just don’t think that Messiah was Jesus.

    Not yet?.... Not ever.

When it comes to the Jewish faith there is no sentence that includes "believe" and "jeesus".

We believe in one G-d and that there is no other. He is our Father, our King, our Ruler, our Creator, our Savior, our Designer. He is infinite and indivisible.

For us to say that G-d has a 'wing-man' or second in command, or whatever your doctrine has taught you------is to fashion Him as a human ruler. It is not a teaching that is in Torah (in fact, the very opposite is in Torah), therefore we conclude that this is teaching of men not G-d.

We don't worship humans, half-humans, divine humans, etc. (even if 99.9% of the rest of the world does) because we are commanded NOT to. We were 'chosen' to keep the Torah, no matter what gods the nations decide to create/follow.

We have waited for the nations to understand this for 2000 years, but sometimes it seems they are not capable. Torah teaches that one day they will be.

    Edit:

The Messiah will lead everyone to worship of one Almighty G-d. 2000 years of xtian hegemony, the majority of the world's gentiles worship an impotent god, a superman, and a ghost. jeesus was not the Messiah and, as he is dead, will never be.

No Jews do not believe that.

In Judaism there is no such thing as someone dying for our sins.

To the posters who said that Jews will one day accept Jesus;wrong we never will;to accept Jesus will mean that we would no longer be counted as part of the Jewish people.

Jews do not believe that God would become human.

Jews believe that we are all responsible for our own sins.

Jews believe that everyone can communicate directly with God without intermediaries.

Jews believe that there are many paths to God regardless of religion or lack thereof.

Jews believe that a dead messiah is not a messiah. The messiah will usher in universal peace on earth for ALL mankind. Is there peace anywhere on earth?

Nope. Guess what - most of the world doesn't so why are you asking Jews? Because your religion told you to target us. Guess what - targeting a group is NOT a good idea for equality.

Seriously - Judaism isn't Christainity & doesn't need to be. It has none of the same concepts you do about human sacrifice or Jesus or heaven.

    No we don't believe that.

We also don't believe that Jesus was divine or that he was a prophet of any kind. Some Jews believe Jesus probably existed, others disagree. He simply doesn't figure in to Judaism at all.

Ummm, no. There's a word for people who believe that: Christians.

Jews are Jews and Christians are Christians.

answer: No. Jesus is irrelevant to Jews and Judaism. the belief in a divine, sacrificed savior does NOT come from Judaism.

They believed the Messiah would be a little more of a warrior type that would lead them from danger...they are still awaiting this messiah. The Christian believe the messiah they predicted is Jesus and that he just did things differently than what they expected.

No they do not believe that.
