What is a good estimate for installing laminate hardwoods in a 900 sq foot area?
looking to take out carpet and linoleum in our whole downstairs and install high quality laminate. What is a good estimate for material and labor for 900 sq ft of flooring. The laminate hard wood is about $3.00-$3.50 a sq foot

Your labor will be in the ballpark of 2.00 to 2.50 $ a s/f depending on the area you live in and the lay out of the room.
If its wide open you should get a lower per s/f price ( 2.$) Higher if it s chopped up area ( maybe 2.5)
Don t forget the under layment pad if yours doesn t have some attached ( 25/30 $ a 100 s/f roll and sold in whole rolls only)
