Does Obama's drilling moratorium guarantee more oil imported from Venezuela, more USA money for Hugo Chavez?

Even with loss of appeal, the fact is the day Obama tricked a bunch of scientists into signing off on drilling moratorium in the Gulf it set in motion a complete loss of the infrastructure that would support USA using more domestic energy which guaranteed huge windfall of profits for President Obama's comrades George Soros and Hugo Chavez.

Is President Obama killing this nation and its fragile economy?

Can USA businesses survive his horrible tenure as President of the United States?

Can anything be done to stop him?

More of course for his Comrade Hugo and his other Muslim brothers, 0bama is killing our economy and must be stopped by impeachment or by voting in a gop congress that can handcuff him until the general election when he will be sent packing

The first thing the President needs to do is fix the education system in this country because apparently there are a lot of uneducated, ignorant people in this country that can't understand some basic concepts.

There are thousands of wells in the gulf producing oil, NONE of which would be shut down by the moratorium.

The moratorium only impacts about 31 exploratory wells. In some cases these wells would not be in production for years, so 6 months is not a major delay.

Once the wells are inspected and determined to be safe they will be released for continued exploration.

Oil is sold via a global market so where our oil companies purchase their oil is not the Presidents decision. Also since none of the wells are in production it will not effect current oil supplies.

Your question is based on misinformation and either you don't understand the facts about the moratorium or you have decided to ignore the facts and decided to intentionally spread this misinformation.

No. Obama has done nothing but assure America a safe continual flow of American crude. They are not demanding the whole Gulf oil industry be closed. Besides America only has control over a relatively few oil rigs. One would have to believe they come up with a program off shutting down one rig at a time, getting it inspected, then either closing it down for a while or let it get back in to production. Why anyone would assume as you had is ridiculous.

You wanna stop the President from protecting Americans and keeping our environment safe? Illogical. But of course you can, come the next election cycle, vote against Obama. Good luck with that.

George Soros was in New Orleans filing to get our deep water drilling rigs the day after Obama announced the drilling moratorium. Hmmm????

Brazil, Petrobras, a company backed by Soros which Obama is heavily vested in.

Then for the green energy, CCX (Chicago Climate Exchange), another Soros and Obama collaboration.

Wouldn't this be considered some form of inside trading? A federal offense? (depends on whether there is public access to all pertinent information)

At the very least, it is shady and immoral.

Wonder if Obama could be pried away from his shares to show he has no other underlying intent? I mean he will be an ex-president who will be supported by tax payers for life, what does he need all the money for? What happend to "share the wealth" and practicing what you preach?

The US gets nearly all its oil/petroleum imports from Canada, Saudi Arabia, Mexico and Nigeria, not Venezuela.

Anyway, I don't know why the US just can't build more nuclear reactors or adopt wind and solar power as well as dams to power their country. Not very cost effective to have 75% of your country dependent on fossil fuels to power itself.

Halting 33 wells (out of 1000s) for a few months is barely a spit in the oil bucket and most are not even extracting oil.

It's better than having another BP oil well and explode and then try to fix 2 gushing wells at the same time.

obama;"you know what after giving a brazillian corperation money to go drilling for oil, we wont buy it off them and instead we will get more off of chavez, hiel me!!"

sure ok... and not to mention america buys it's oil off of the international market which means they go for the cheapest
