Has anyone here changed your opinon(s)?

here in the politics section? Or is it a bunch of libs/cons stroking each other's genitals saying how right each other are? I'd guess, based on the comments I'm seeing, that the average IQ here is somehwere just south of 48...

Discuss.

Update:

Good point everyone, this is how questions should be answered :)

I've changed my opinion on the war in Iraq and Afghanistan. Reason being is that even if we completely defeat the Taliban and run Al Qaeda out of business, then what? How many more hundreds of billions of dollars will we spend to rebuild Iraq and Afghanistan? How much are we willing to spend on "nation building"? Once upon a time we kick A$$ and came home. Now I guess it's US policy to destory our enemies and then spend trillions putting them back together.

Yup at first I believed posters to be just having fun making jokes of Obama's stupidity, incompetence, and poor decisions but now I realize he's hated and despised for what he's doing to a great country and the people are more pissed off than ever and aren't afraid to admit it// Obama after 2 years still can't do anything right//

Source(s): When is Obama's on the job training finished??

Im a Liberal interested in other views when I started, I was in for a Surprise. Many Yahoo! Answers are Right Wing, Radical, low Information Liberals are the Minority here, I have to hope for more.

i used to think people were smarter than what they where given credit for. now i don't think so. your comment about IQ being south of 48 is most likely true unfortunately.

I don't do it for the benefit of liberals here. I do it for the benefit of those who follow behind and read the banter later. Because the more a person is exposed to both sides, the more likely he is to become conservative.

Yes, it depends on the issue, but generally speaking no one is going to change political stripes no matter how persuasive the argument. It has nothing to do with intellect.

  • When I started off here, I was essentially politically neutral. Now I'm a libertarian with socially liberal views. Yeah, most of the people here are completely retarded and far too closed-minded to question anything they believe. But on the bright side, that helped me immensely in shaping my views.

I had a good argument going with someone on here discussing our different economic standpoints, it did not change my mind but it did make me rethink my stance.

Yes, I used to think people who voted differently wanted different things. I now realize that some of them are just stupid.
