Alice in Wonderland tv movie?
When I was younger I remember watching a made for tv version of Alice in Wonderland. It was live action- as far as I can remember- and made as a mini-series. The last part I saw was when Alice returns home- or so she thinks. She enters her house and realizes something is wrong, and the very last thing that happens before the end of that episode is some scary dragon-like monster (I'm guessing now it is the Jabberwocky) appears. I remember being scared as a child but still looking forward to seeing the next part, but for whatever reason never got to. I'm 26 now, so this would have been late 80s or early 90s most likely, though I'm not sure this was the first airing of it. Can anyone else remember this version and what it was called? I'd love to watch it again and see the ending this time!

Its the 1985 version of "Alice in Wonderland" and it had two parts. The second half is "alice in the looking glass". Red Buttons plays the white rabbit and Natalie Gregory plays Alice. I have it and its one of my favorites. They sell it at Wal-Mart. I think I paid maybe 7 bucks for it. I think it was on the Disney channel or maybe just regular tv. When Alice in in the house she reads her sister's book and the monster appears. The owl tells her she needs to over come her fears to get back threw the mirror. So in order to go back home she had to overcome her fear of the jabberwocky.

The first two are full-length movies, but the third is a TV show from Disney. It was the only live-action Alice shows I could find. I think you may be describing the third, though.
The series, though, is called "Adventures in Wonderland."
