Do you think Netherlands could have created better chances had they not resorted to fouling tactics?

Like whenever they got the ball, they looked capable but sort of were happy to play a foul game

Update:

Well,I'm a Dutch supporter, nonetheless I felt they could have done better if they dint resort to excessive fouling

Im afraid I have to agree with the second answerer.

    Spain

    1. Capdevilla rolling on the pitch in agony, waits for the ref to hand out a booking to his opponent, then miraculously stands up and scampers off

    2. Andreas Iniesta's two dives (and possibly a third) in extra time period

    3. Xavi Hernandez's hounding of the ref, pressurising him, and on occasions gesticulating to him to brandish the red card and dismiss a Dutch player. The pressure paid off towards the end.

    4. Carles Puyol already on a yellow card, holding back Arjen Robben as the Dutchman tried to get away from him with only Casillas to beat. Casillas easily collects the ball. Puyol escapes.

    Netherlands

    1. Nigel de Jong sweet chin music, escaped with a booking when it couldve been a red

Football rearing its ugly face again on the biggest stage...

We fouled them, yes, but they over-dramatised, exaggerated their falls, feigned injury and conned the referee.

There was excess fouling going on from the Netherlands team.It would have been so much better if they had not resorted to such cheap fouling strategies.Nevertheless, its Spain who won and i'm happy!! lol

They don't know how to play without fouling or diving.

Yea, but playing dirty didn't do them much justice, they didn't deserve to be in the world cup.
